TENNER'S TEN #14

Tenner's Ten is back for week fourteen! Every Monday we are bringing you ten songs we have had on repeat for the week. This week's on repeats include new tracks from Dora Jar, RIIKI REID, Pusha T and Wet Leg - plus a new single from issue three cover stars Wallows.

Dora Jar - 'Tiger Face'

Dora Jar is soaring right now, and won’t be stopping any time soon. As well as recently played a packed-out arena tour with Billie Eilish, she has released her new EP ‘comfortably in pain’. ‘Tiger Face’ is a standout track from the project, it’s electrifying and carries the energy of being front row at a rock concert. This EP is our favourite right now, we highly recommend a listen!

RIIKI REID - 'Meet U Again'

Returning with her new indie-pop blend, RIIKI REID (formerly known as RIIKI) has graced us with ‘Meet U Again’. The track offers the first taste of new music set for release this year and the beginning of a new and exciting era for the emerging artist. We are bubbling with excitement, and cannot wait to see what’s next in store from RIIKI REID.

Wet Leg - 'Angelica'

After they were launched into the spotlight with the release of the groovy ‘Chaise Longue’ - Wet Leg have returned again with ‘Angelica’. The song comes alongside the announcement of their debut album ‘Wet Leg’ set for a release on April 8th. Apparently, the album was mostly recorded in April of 2021, and finished before the world had heard June’s hit ‘Chaise Longue’. We are excitedly awaiting the albums arrival!

Thorington - 'Miracle'

Thorington’s ‘Like I’m Moving’ EP has finally arrived, one we have been excited for quite some time. This song is a perfect encapsulation of the kind of sonic trip Thorington takes you through the project. Some of other our highlights are ‘You Got It’ ‘Changing On Me’ and the oh so epic ‘Give Away Your Love’

Pusha T - 'Hear Me Clearly'
(with Nigo)

Oh we love Pusha season, keep em coming is all we can say! Another track that has us amped for Nigo’s upcoming project ‘I Know Nigo’ featuring Tyler, the Creator, Ye, A$AP ROCKY & Pharrell Williams.

Duckwrth - 'Power Power'

Duckwrth really owns the power of the dancefloor on his latest single, ‘Power Power’. Starting the year with a bang, the track is a booming club banger blended with vibrant hip-hop, and the sprinkle on top is the Shaun Ross feature - the model turned artist delivers a super slick verse! This song demands to be replayed.

Bennett Coast - 'Seeds'

We fell in love with this song instantly. Bennett Coast has released his latest single, ‘Seeds’, a romantically haunting track that really shows Bennett Coast’s ability to build a world around you through the song's progression. Also, ‘Seeds’ has one of my favourite single covers ever - it’s beautiful.

HAIM - 'Lost Track'

Wooow we love this song, an upbeat anthem of spontaneity, with a groovy Paul Thomas Anderson directed music video. The song was first shown during screenings of Anderson’s film Licorice Pizza, starring Alana Haim.

Wallows - 'At The End of the Day'

Wallows continue to amaze, releasing ‘At the End of the Day’ - one we have been excited to hear for a long time now. The song offers another taste of their highly anticipated forthcoming album ‘Tell Me That It’s Over’

You can read our cover story with Wallows from the ‘Voices of the Next Generation’ issue here

CLAY - 'WTSGD'

We recently found CLAY with her song ‘Artery’, which had us excited to dive into their cataloge. Now, CLAY has impressed once again with their latest single ‘ WSTGD’ with songstress Alessia Cara. The alt-pop track is infused with R&B, letting the pair’s unbeatable chemistry shine through. ‘WSTGD’ is taken from CLAY’s upcoming EP ‘ Breathing Into Bloom’ out May 4th.
