TENNER'S TEN #20

Tenner's Ten is back for week twenty! Every Monday we are bringing you ten songs we have had on repeat for the week. This week's on repeats include new tracks from Future, Matthew Young, PinkPantheress & WILLOW, Sampa the Great & Denzel Curry, as well as a catchy new tune from Reuben Fleetwood and more.

Future - 'WAIT FOR U'
(ft. Drake & Tems)

Future has released his latest album ‘ I NEVER LIKED YOU’, and it is full of heat. We were instantly hooked with the bass-booming opening track 712PM, and jammed right to the closing track ‘BACK TO THE BASICS’. Our top pick from the album is ‘WAIT FOR U’, and it has got to be one of our favourite Future and Drake link ups - with the pair of rap kingpins getting vulnerable over a smooth sample of Tem’s live performance of ‘Higher’. Some other highlights on the album are ‘KEEP IT BURNIN’ featuring Kanye West, ‘PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ’ and ‘CHICKENS’ featuring EST Gee.

PinkPantheress - 'Where you are'
(ft. WILLOW)

PinkPantheress has finally unleashed her highly anticipated new single ‘Where you are’ featuring WILLOW, one destined to crush the charts.

easy life - 'BEESWAX'

Returning with their first new music since last year’s debut album ‘life’s a beach’, British indie band easy life offer up their latest breezy single ‘BEESWAX’, leaving us extra excited for what could possibly come next.

Matthew Young - 'Like Falling'

Matthew Young is back with another stellar taste of his forthcoming debut album, releasing ‘Like Falling’. The track is an alt-rock groover that again highlights the malleability of his sonic palette, seeming to explore a whole new area of his artistry with each release. This is our favourite Matthew Young song, and we cannot wait to hear what is next up!

Sasha Alex Sloan - 'New Normal'

Continuing the rollout of singles from her upcoming album ‘I Blame The World’, Sasha Alex Sloan is back with ‘New Normal’ - her heartfelt lyricism recounts the feeling of adjusting to life without someone.

Daniel Caesar - 'Please Do Not Lean'
(ft. BADBADNOTGOOD)

Another duo we didn't know we needed, two powerhouse talents out of Toronto Daniel Ceaser and alt-jazz band BADBADNOTGOOD. We were sold immediately with Daniel’s silky smooth vocals gliding over the always perfect instrumentals of BADBADNOTGOOD - exploring the theme of being too unstable to support someone you love.

Momma - 'Speeding 72'

The New York-based band Momma have returned with another high adrenaline track ‘Speeding 72’, coming alongside the announcement of their forthcoming album ‘Household Name’ out July 1st. The album will feature the previously released ‘Medicine’ and ‘Rockstar’, it is one we cannot wait for.

Reuben Fleetwood - 'Same Shit'

Introducing pop newcomer Reuben Fleetwood, a charismatic and exciting star rising out of Whangamata. He has released his latest catchy single ‘Same Shit’, helping extend the feeling of summer as he contemplates running back to the same shit.

Flume - 'ESCAPE'
(ft. KUČKA)

Flume and KUČKA prove their status as a power duo once again on the electric track ‘ESCAPE’. The song made its debut at Flume’s dazzling Coachella performance, where he brought out guests like Vince Staples, Caroline Polachek, Laurel, MAY-A, and KUČKA. ‘ESCAPE’ arrives as a double single, paired with the title track of his forthcoming album ‘PALACES’.

Sampa the Great - 'Lane'
(ft. Denzel Curry)

Sheeeesh, Sampa the Great and Denzel Curry are the combo we didn't know we needed, giving us an effortlessly slick rap track. Sampa the Great will never slow down!
